Its ALL about The Calamari
As I am sure you already know, AQUA is famous for its Calamari, but just what is it, and where does it come from?
Squid is eaten in many cuisines and in English the culinary name calamari is often used for squid dishes.
There are many ways to prepare and cook it.
As an example, Fried squid is common in the Mediterranean. In Lebanon and Syria, however, it is served with tartare sauce. In New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, it is sold in fish and chip shops.
In Britain, it can be found in Mediterranean ‘calamari’ or Asian ‘salt and pepper fried squid’ forms in various establishments, often served as a bar snack, street food, or starter.
Now why am I telling you all of this?
Not so much because you need an education in the finer points of Squid, but we are missing you and making our favourite dishes and hoping that we can see you soon.
